BERING
COMPANY BACKGROUND
After operating under the Mountain computer umbrella for several years,
Bering was aquired along with Mountain by Nakamichi in October 1988.
Bering now operates as a division of Ocean Microsystems, Inc., a spin-
off from Mountain officially formed in Febuary 1989. It gains gross
annual sales of $12,000,000, and employs 45 people.

Warranty : Each product is covered by a one-year limited warranty
against defects in workmanship and materials

product does not meet the customers expectations, it can be returned

Although Bering is an independent company and has no real formal
affiliation with Mountain or Nakamichi, it plans to draw on the
resources of those companies.
